Now Open at CF Toronto Eaton Centre: An Immersive Samsung Experience Store
Tonight I attended the VIP Launch of the new 21,000 Square foot Samsung Experience Store inside CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The event was a sensory experience which touched all the senses. I had a lot of fun trying out new Samsung products and discovering possible wish list items such as the wireless ear buds. Guests were able to experience Samsung technology and innovation first hand. I loved that the Samsung Experience Store stayed true to their roots and gave guests a glimpse into Korean Culture. Backup DJ was spinning an array of beats and artist Dahae Song was painting a masterpiece live on site. There were unique touches such as an aerial performance in the middle of the store. Guests also had a chance to sample some Korean cuisine prepared by Kristen Kish who was the Top Chef Winner in Season 10. The Samsung Experience Store did not hold back at all with the launch, guests could even peel off original custom artwork to stick on to their Samsung mobile phones! In another corner of the Samsung Experience Store, guests could get glammed up by hair and make-up teams and participate in their own K-Pop Selfie. Let’s talk about the store for a minute. The space itself is overwhelmingly brilliant with wonderful design details. The aesthetic is quite sleek with rounded walls and a staircase that acts as a focal point. On the second level, you will find a fully functioning demo kitchen outfitted in Samsung appliances. The plan is to get shoppers to watch cooking demos and really understand the appliances. A space dubbed the ‘TV Experience Zone’ is tucked away on the second level as well. This is where you can try out Samsung televisions and sound systems. My favourite was the Frame TV – Samsung’s latest creation will have you flaunting your sleek frame-like television as it doubles as a piece of art. You can shop a wide range of tablets and smartphones as well as accessories on the first floor of the Samsung Experience Store. Last but not least, there is also a Samsung Smart Service where Galaxy Consultants are on site to assist you with repairs and technical support. Pretty much, this is your one stop shop for all things Samsung. If you’re a fan of Samsung or you’re looking for your new tech purchase, the Samsung Experience Store is the place to go.
