Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona Review: An Intimate Property in the Heart of Barcelona
I was recently in Barcelona and had the chance to stay at Hotel Sixtytwo, a beautiful property located in a historical building right in the heart of Barcelona. The hotel has a really cool, intimate vibe and the guestrooms are decorated with a modern and minimal aesthetic. I also love that they have a corner bar that is free for guests – it’s definitely a cool feature! The service here is attentive and intimate, which makes you feel really welcome. And lastly, the breakfast is definitely a hit – there are tons of delicious options to choose from!
A Remarkable Hotel
Whether looking out over the inner courtyard of the Eixample or the breathtaking Paseo de Gracia, Hotel Sixtytwo’s pleasant and spacious rooms will guarantee that your stay in Barcelona is memorable.
The Sixtytwo Hotel is a small boutique hotel in a historic 19th-century building on the prestigious Paseo de Gracia, surrounded by Barcelona’s most exclusive stores and Gaudí’s major projects such as Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. It has kept its 19th-century modernist architecture and interiors, which are now combined with designer furnishings.
The Service
The service at Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona is attentive and intimate, which makes you feel really welcome. The staff is always available to help with anything you need, and they make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.
The Guestrooms
The guest rooms at Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona are decorated with a modern and minimal aesthetic. They are all equipped with a flat-screen TV, WiFi, a Nespresso machine, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. My room also had a spacious outdoor balcony with city views that was the perfect spot to spend the morning and night relaxing. The room was much more spacious than I anticipated, based on how small some European hotels were and that was a nice and unexpected touch.
The Location
Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona is located on one of Barcelona’s most famous streets, the Paseo de Gracia. This street is home to some of the city’s most iconic buildings, including Gaudí’s Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. The hotel is also just a short walk away from many of Barcelona’s other popular attractions, such as the Barcelona Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. The Gràcia metro station is 140 meters away, with links to Barcelona’s Josep Tarradellas – El Prat International Airport and Sants Station, while the Passeig de Gràcia train station is only 100 meters away.
Food and Beverage
The breakfast at Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona is definitely a hit – there are tons of delicious options to choose from! I love that there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a light breakfast or something more substantial. There’s also a great selection of pastries, cheese, desserts, and fresh fruits. They also served meals a la carte.
One of my favorite features of Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona is the corner bar, which is free for guests to use. This cocktail lounge is open from 6 pm-1 am every day -definitely a cool feature and it’s a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. They served complimentary flavored water, tea, coffee, and even cava (sparkling wine) during happy hour!
Overall, I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Sixtytwo Barcelona! It’s an intimate property located in a historical building right in the heart of Barcelona. If you’re looking for a Barcelona hotel that has it all, I would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this review.
