The Dermalogica Chalet has popped up on Queen Street West and you only have until Sunday, January 21, 2018 to visit. An average storefront on Queen Street west has been transformed into a haven for skincare enthusiasts. This modern take on a ski chalet is well appointed with everything you would need for your skin to beat the winter blues.
The Dermalogica Chalet is a great way to escape the cold and take time to learn how to manage your skin during this rough brutal weather. The doors to the Chalet opened to the public on January 17th, 2017. I attended the media preview and highly recommend dropping by if you can. Dermalogica recently launched the brand new UltraCalming line which provides an excellent skincare solution for those with mild or extreme skin sensitivities. With the launch of the UltraCalming line, the main focus of the Dermalogica Chalet is to inspire us to address the impact harsh winter weather has on our skin.
“Everyone’s skin is affected by winter’s cold climate in some capacity,” explains Melissa Daniels, General Manager, Dermalogica Canada. “Our Chalet was conceptualized to create a comforting and warm sanctuary for people to learn more about their skin and how the new UltraCalming™ products can help them sooth damaged skin or proactively protect themselves before symptoms like dryness, redness or itchiness begin.”
The Dermalogica Chalet is a very cozy environment where you can warm up, learn about the new UltraCalming products, test them out, and enjoy some lovely winter themed treats. The Chalet also consists of personalized skin consultations including face mapping, mini-treatments, 30 minute express facials, as well as a Virtual Reality experience and lounge. Be sure to click play on the video above to see first-hand what the Chalet is like. When I attended, I tried the 30 minute express facial. I found all the staff to be extremely welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The facial was excellent and left my skin glowing. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for event details.
